A year of Perplexity Pro at no cost is a very good deal. I’ve been using P Pro for free via a similar offer from Zoom.
Despite my overall skepticism regarding the general value of A.I. as implemented today, I’ve found Perplexity Pro and Comet, its associated web browser, to be useful on balance.
I haven’t decided yet whether it actually is worth the full $20/month subscription, however. I have a few more months to decide.
