Back in January, the Omni Group released version 6.0 of OmniOutliner Essentials and OmniOutliner Pro with Liquid Glass design elements, smart Dynamic Themes, integration with Apple Intelligence, and more. Both editions have now been updated to version 6.1, with OmniOutliner Pro 6.1 receiving over 20 Shortcuts—from Get Column with Name and Get All Descendants for Row to Append Rich Text and Add Column to Outline. The Omni Group blog also includes some sample Shortcuts, including Translate Document Rows, Journal Entry, and Checkout Nearby Coffee Shops (which searches Maps for coffee shops near your current location). Both editions now present the Open panel when OmniOutliner launches with no documents to restore, add a New Document button, and ensure the Reordering in the Sections List feature works reliably. OmniOutliner Essentials is priced at $24.99, the Pro edition costs $99.99, and upgrades to both are discounted by 50%.
