“This update has no published CVE entries” so may not actually be security related beyond facilitating an update to Safari 16.3.1 (16614.4.6.11.7).
Huh! I guess I don’t know what happens if Apple releases a version of macOS that has no security changes at all. I had previously thought that Apple said “no published CVE entries” when it had made security changes based on internal-only knowledge.
Apparently this might fix some problems with blank Favorite icons in Safari.
Yes, I suspect we will eventually learn of an associated CVE when it gets fixed for some additional OSs.
