Just seconding Marc above here – TextSniper really is the way to go. Capable with any kind of Unicode realisation and very large chunks. Worth every ¢!!
Enabling the keyboard shortcut is handy, but how did you get the ‘No’ to show up in “Receive No input from”?
On mine, I clicked on that field, deselected everything, and was left with “Apps” instead of of “No”
And of course the remaining question is, ‘Does it matter?’
Hmmm, I’m not sure! I just created a new Shortcut and have the same problem as you – no way to get rid of Apps as an input. Maybe this is something that changed since I first made my Capture Text shortcut. I don’t think it does matter since this shortcut isn’t triggered from an app and ignores the input anyway.
It just seemed odd that I could not match yours, but not mattering works quite well for me.
It’s the functionality that counts, and your shortcut easily solves my problem, especially after enabling the keyboard shortcut.
Now I just need the same kind of functionality in iOS.
