I thought LR Classic was the buy once version of Lightroom… yet I see “Classic” is subject to their monthly fees. What gives?
Several years back it went subscription only…there’s LR Classic which is the latest version of the but it once app and LR which is the cloud based mobile platform solution. The former has a few more features, but the latter stores originals in the Adobe cloud so they’re accessible from any device. The photo plan includes both plus Photoshop and some cloud storage space.
