KDE Connect Brings iPhone Connectivity to Linux

KDE Connect has long enabled tight integration between Linux desktops and Android phones. Now it’s officially available for the iPhone and iPad.

That looks really good. I see this opens up options to triggering a sync from your iPhone (via run cmd).

We used to be able to do that straight out of the box with Macs and iPhones up until iOS 12. Then in iOS 13 Apple quietly removed the simple command from Settings > General and never returned it. :unamused: And because we all know wifi sync works so reliably all the time, who would ever want to initiate a sync from their phone anyway.
