Is iOS' Security Responses & System files the same as macOS' Install Security Responses and system files?

As above, in Settings > General > Software Update > Automatic Updates

Is it the exact same setting or are there any important differences?

So if nobody knows what the difference is between these two and we only have a good explanation for what macOS’ setting does, how do folks know what they should set their iOS setting to?

I always assumed they were equivalent, but never really thought too much about it until you asked.

This Apple Support article targeted at MDM users and this one for mere mortals seems to confirm that they are equivalent in that they allow the installation of RSRs for the respective platforms. If there are any nuances, Apple doesn’t seem inclined to tell us.
