Apple has released iOS 14.2.1 to address a trio of bugs in the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Never experienced any lock screen issues with my 12 mini. Still installed this update right away following @jcenters’s advice.
