How to disable translucent dock in iOS16 on iPhone?

Forgive me if this has been asked before (mods delete if necessary).

After upgrading my iPhone to IOS 16 it now has a translucent background in the dock. I hate it.

How do I turn it off?

Turn off in what way?

If you want the background to become opaque, go to Settings → Accessibility → Display & Text Size and set the “Reduce Transparency” feature. This is what I do on my phone.

If you want to eliminate the background, you can’t but you can set your home screen wallpaper to use an image that blends with it and makes it seem to vanish:

Thanks for the tip. I enabled that Reduced Transparency setting, It’s better than it was, at least it’s a lot less intrusive.
