This year’s new iPads (M4 iPad Pro and M2 iPad Air) are the only iPads that support reporting battery health from Settings / Battery. I know that my Air 4 running the latest iPadOS 17.5.1 still doesn’t report battery health.
Thanks. I wonder why Apple never included this feature in the older iPads.
If I could guess, the battery on an iPad is much larger than iPhone and the amount of charge loss from charge cycle degradation is probably a lot slower. Still, I wouldn’t mind seeing it.
Of course you can get a decent approximation with the app Coconut Battery on the Mac with a connected iOS or iPadOS device.
