Creating MacOS Profiles?

Hi all,

As I recall, there’s a way to create various Profiles in MacOS such that when I’m not connected to my home network, I can have some settings automatically change. For instance, if I connect to a “foreign” network/SSID, I can have the Lock Screen options for MacBook Pro change from “After 15 minutes” to “Immediately” when I close the display or the screen saver starts. I thought this was an easy thing to do, but alas I can’t figure it out.

Thanks!

Which version of macOS are you using? Apple temporarily removed the “Network Locations” feature from early versions of Ventura before reintroducing it later. See below.

Sorry, I thought that I’d said I’m using MacOS Ventura 13.4.

Thanks for the article. I’ll take a look!
