Two iPhone 14’s running iOS 16.2 and 16.7.2
Would like to update them to iOS 16.7.7 without being forced to iOS 17 at this time.
The phones are only offering to update to iOS 17.4.1
Is there a way to stay in iOS 16 ?

You cannot upgrade any phone that is able to run iOS 17 to any version of iOS 16 anymore. The only way to stay in iOS 16 is to refuse the upgrade to iOS 17, but you won’t be able to get iOS 16 updates to what you are running now.
I suspected as much. Confirmation appreciated.
