Can I record a program on the latest version of an Apple TV box?

I like to watch NWSL women’s soccer, which is currently streamed via the NWSL+ app, which is available on the Apple TV box.

If I purchase the latest model, a third-generation Apple TV 4k and install the NWSL+ app, will it be possible to record a game and watch it at at time of my convenience? Or am I limited to only watching the game in real time as it is streamed?

If this is possible, how would it be done. An Apple app, a third-party app or what?

If it works like Apple’s MLS broadcasts, you can watch previously-aired games in their entirety by simply starting the stream whenever you’re ready to watch it. There’s no recording involved. I rarely, if ever, watch MLS games live.
