Busy Apps has released BusyCal 2025.4.1 and BusyContacts 2025.4.1. BusyCal introduces new options to automatically include travel time whenever a location is added, provides a setting to select a default origin for travel time, adds cycling as a mode of travel for time calculation, and adds a Format Menu option for strikethrough (Command-Shift-S). The calendar app also gains an option to turn off copying event duration when using event suggestions, improves compatibility with additional CalDAV servers, addresses an authentication related issue affecting some Office 365 accounts, fixes a bug in macOS 26 Tahoe where the recurring event confirmation dialog could be dismissed prematurely, and resolves an issue where My Tags and Tags were occasionally exported together in CSV exports.

BusyContacts now leverages Apple Intelligence (when available) and Apple’s Maps to Auto-Fill Address from Street Field, introduces a new and improved profile image picker, and includes a new built-in vCard sanitizer that automatically repairs malformed or corrupt cards imported or pulled during sync. The contact manager also adds support for importing multiple .vcf files at once via drag and drop, improves auto-linking of phone numbers that differ only in formatting or spacing, ensures that copying a contact’s profile image preserves its full resolution, improves birthdate recognition for partial dates, and fixes a bug where custom backup paths were not retained after restarting the app. ($49.99 new for BusyCal from Busy Apps or the Mac App Store, free update, in Setapp, 78.2 MB, release notes, macOS 11.5+; $49.99 new for BusyContacts from Busy Apps or the Mac App Store, free update, in Setapp, 30.3 MB, release notes, macOS 11.5+)
