Busy Apps has released BusyCal 2024.4.2 and BusyContacts 2024.4.1 with improved syncing for BusyCal. The calendar app now supports automatically syncing new accounts across devices (including BusyCal on iOS) and ensures Smart Filters and Calendar Sets are synced across all of your Macs running BusyCal. The release adds an option to Smart Filters to remember your chosen time zone, allows you to exclude completed tasks from List View, fixes an intermittent issue with Spotlight indexing not updating correctly, resolves an issue where the menu bar app would not immediately refresh events updated during background sync following a relaunch, and improves stability of synchronization with Appleās Calendar.
BusyContacts brings some unspecified improvements for those running macOS 15 Sequoia, improves mapping of UK postcodes, fixes a bug where updated photos stored on a remote server would not pull during sync, improves HTML detection in notes, and enhances performance when handling large volumes of duplicate cards.
