I’ve been enjoying the audio tab in the News app, got a notification about it this morning. Seems to be an offering of long form articles, the main features, read from the magazines you subscribe to, as well as Apple News Today. The content is good I have to say, the production values high.
There’s a player with basic controls, ability to sort a sequence etc, limited but does the business. Each item leads to the original story, if you do swap to the print (so to speak) version it apparently stays in sync with the audio.
