Apps for tracking time and invoicing

Zoho appears to be online only. I created a free account and started testing it. I do prefer a standalone app, but we’ll see.

I took a quick look at OfficeTime this morning, but haven’t downloaded it. One of the things I don’t do is timing, because writing things down seems to work better for me. I’ve had a timer going all day on one thing when I’d actually done about 10. Old habits I guess.

I’m using the Mac native app which you can get from the App store. It still requires a free account I believe. In fact from my brief testing I think the web version actually has a few more features.

The other option I looked at was Xero and it’s cloud only. I formerly used MYOB First Edge but all the MYOB products appear to be headed to cloud services as well.
