Apple gave nine apps an Apple Design Award this year, but Mac apps didn’t get much representation.
Yes, noted that too.
Multi-platform Agenda was awarded last year, Things a prior year. Not much on the Mac-only front. I guess it is where the innovation (and money) is.
But lately, working my way through the betas of DevonThink Pro 3, I’ve come to marvel at the sophistication of the app, how a myriad details perfectly executed all within a robust yet flexible architecture, thoughtfully and elegantly designed, inspires confidence in my archive and productivity moving forward with new data. Really exemplary development, solid, no fuss precision engineering. Can’t see a buzzy two-minute demo though
