Hmm, I’ll have to dig out my iPhone 6 and see about updating it. Too bad I can’t do the same with my “iPod 3GS”.

My iPhone 8+ is running 12.1. When I go to settings>general>sw update, my only update choice is 14.6. 12.5.4 is not shown. Any idea how to get around this!

TIA,
Peter

There is no way to get around that (short of jailbreaking). 12.5.4 is only available for devices that cannot run iOS 14 (such as the iPhone 6 or 6+). Since the 8+ can run 14.6, that’s the only update it will see.
