Well this is some small good news I must admit I was not expecting. Apparently Apple found their system a bit more concerning than Adam did, though perhaps it was simply their legal department realizing that it went completely contrary to the claims in their privacy policy.
Or they decided that they had to be seen doing something, whether they agreed with the outcry or not.
