Happy new year, everyone, and belated thanks for all your help. I guess it finally kicked into action probably (per the above suggestions) after I logged out and back into icloud on both phones… or maybe something else. I’m having so many problems these days besides the technical ones, I can’t say I’ve followed any steps methodically, but ultimately the problem seems to have fixed itself. So thanks again!
