I presume there was some sign off by Apple for the logo placement. Looks like the thickness of an iPod before Ive. Given that it’s an alternate history, maybe Robert Brunner never hired him in the show’s version.

It’s an Apple TV series. Apple devices appear in every Apple TV series that I can think of. The difference here, of course, is that this show isn’t set in our timeline. The current season is set in an alternate 2012 in which the USSR still exists and is allied with the USA and other countries to colonize Mars.
