Satechi is another brand a lot of Mac people like. By all accounts, their stuff seems reasonable. But often they’re hardly less expensive than Apple. And while Apple’s ripoff tax is silly (especially when they’re playing catchup with the rest of the market), at least there I know who I’m dealing with and I know they are excellent when it comes to returns, shipping, invoicing, and all that. But not to come off as overly critical, if you have the dough and you like the Satechi product, why not. Lykke til!

I was thinking about trust by my fellow Tidbits readers. Apple web store sells things from manufacturers not on this list.
