potentially off topic: @adamrice I moved from pinboard to a self-hosted solution (linkding, something compatible that I install on my own web server). I use it alongside my 100s of open tabs on macOS and 400 on iOS.
Mostly I moved because MC was saying some pretty nasty stuff and had pretty despicable views, and when his friends called him out on them he chose to die on that hill. I don’t want to fund that.
Before that, he asked all subscribers for money for work on Pinboard whilst he was taking a year sabbatical. He took the money and no changes were made to the site, at one point it went down and I had to send him an SMS to get it back up. There is proof of all this on my twitter timeline, public messages between me and him.
