Hi all! I’ve got a godkid who’s probably not ready for the Internet as a whole but wants to pick her own music – anyone have experience setting up a music device that doesn’t expose the user to the firehose of the Internet/YouTube/etc? She can mostly find her way around a phone and has that 7-year-old brain plasticity that it the setup isn’t completely obscure she’ll figure it out. A small subscription fee would be okay; loading up a device with her songs might be suboptimal as she will probably want to listen to whatever is popular among her friends.
How 'bout a kids tablet? Here’s one:

A HomePod mini with an Apple Music account? She could go straight to talking to it.
