Recovering journalist, cynical optimist. I’ve been heads over heels in love with Apple since my first newspaper job in 1987, when our newsroom graphics department ran on a Mac SE. The first Mac I owned was a Performa 6100, and I’ve never looked back.

My current lineup is a 27-inch iMac, iPhone 12 mini, Apple Watch Series 5, and 2020 iPad Air. With the exception of the watch, they were all bought in 2020, which I think entitles me to claim Tim Cook as a dependent on my taxes.
