Currently retired, I have been following using and programming technology for years. Starting out in the PDP8e era (Digital) seeing the first IBM PCs squash the market, user of IBM OSs VM, MVS, OS2, and (unfortunately Windows since 3.0 - and yes OS2 was a better windows than windows [mutlitasking, multiple images, better memory map extended and expanded memory models, keep running for months vs a few hours for windows].

Now I dabble in Apple’s Swift, scripting, Almost entirely a Mac guy (hate fixing windows computers for friends and families), Apple developer beta tester for MAC, HomePod, AppleWatch, AppleTV and iOS. Write retirement planning and tax software (for myself) using Numbers (so much better for me than Excel which I used for years. Was one of the 10 users of Lotus 123 addin toolkit used for utility financial planning software.
