Oh my—Jason Snell linked to this Apple corporate video in a Six Colors post and it’s so 1980s… And such a rip-off of Irene Cara’s “Flashdance.”
The YouTube comments note that Apple did license ‘Flashdance, Oh What a Feeling’ for the video. So more a homage than a rip-off.
Good to hear that Apple’s lawyers were doing the right thing.
Interesting that it was used during the Mac launch in January1984. The YT poster, an Apple dealer at the time, says it was played during a break in presentations of the new Mac and updated Lisas.
