USB-C Hub for MacBook

I agree that the best place to buy displays is a bricks&mortar star with working display models. It helps a lot to see the actual display, especially if you have any visual limitations. Web stores have such a large selection that it’s overwhelming.

How about a hub with 7 USB-C ports? It is only $45 at Amazon and right now there is a $10 off coupon you can apply to lower the price.

Even today, most of my clients have legacy accessories that have USB-A. For those with few accessories, I prefer to buy a USB-C to [whatever fits the device] cable to avoid bulkier adapters/hubs (acknowledging that there’s probably some sort of adapter circuitry in the cable).

I finally found an Anker dock that has a sufficiency of old style USB connectors. Some other brands I tried got unacceptably hot. As someone else mentioned, I usually recommend a powered hub/dock.

Thank you. I like Anker as well; generally use their cords & surge protectors.
