Eastgate Systems has released version 11.6 of its Tinderbox note-taking assistant, adding integration with the Claude Code agentic coding tool, in addition to the Claude Desktop and Gemini AI tools. The update enhances the Find Bar with option to search using Tinderbox queries, adds support for MultiMarkdown (alongside Markdown, CommonMark, and Tinderbox’s own styled text), revises the text of the built-in AI notes containers to adopt a hierarchical note structure, improves the Recent Documents List to be more robust, extends the Command Bar with information about every Tinderbox operator, ensures the Inspector more reliably reflects the current document, improves the layout of many inspectors and popovers that include color pickers, and makes extensive revisions to internal map view infrastructure to clarify coordinate systems.
