Since Mac OS 26 whenever I use the «Save as…» dialogue and I want to change a file name my cursor gets very very slow, every single cursor movement to the left or to the right takes about two or three seconds, pretty annoying.
Does anyone outhere experienced the same issue?
I did try the usual things, unistall Bartender and things, but nothing helped.
Any hints very are very welcome.

This is almost certainly something you’ve added to the system that’s misbehaving. Check by logging into a clean user account (or guest account). You could also try booting in Safe Mode. But it’s probably going to come down to turning off everything that you’ve installed that might be changing Save As dialogs.
It looks like the update to OS 26.2. solved my issue with the lagging cursor and now I hope this remains the case.
Anyhow I still could not identify the cause of this cursor behaviour in the Save As dialogue.
