Have been using Suunto sports watches for 5 years and the current watches use bluetooth to connect to the App for exercise data transfer from watch to phone or iPad. It seems that since I updated my iPad Pro 2019 13.9” to iOS 26.4 the bluetooth connect became wobbly and then broke. I finally found mention in the Suunto Community Support site that others have noticed this problem as well and even before 26.4 was released with purchase of new iPhone for example. This brand is not as common in the US so many here may not be familiar with it. Any ideas how to fix this?

April 16 its me, rf806 with the answer. After reading as many search hits as I could without any suggestion working except the deletion of the MobileApp which is nested in PairedDevices←Connectivity←Settings, which I did not act on since it wasn’t clear that my exercise data would also be deleted, I emailed Suunto Customer Support and spelled this all out. They assurred me the exercise data would not be erased and gave me a full protocol to follow, all very plainly written and easy to follow. The also advised I use the iPhone for downloading workout data. So I erased the MobileApp and Powered Down my iPhone and Suunto watch. After restarting both the watch linked normally with the iPhone, which I decided to use as the download receptor, not the iPad. Today I could not download the bike route just completed so went through the same sequence and after the Suunto took it’s own sweet time to come back to life the download was completed sans hassle.
