Yes. 
The party, on October 26th in Shibuya, was a big success though. I ended up doing live slideshow slides with my Apple Music playlists in the background. And for sharing, I created Google albums (which are far easier for general sharing than Apple Photos are). And I put some up on YouTube.

Way over what you need, but it will work just fine and it’s free. DaVinci Resolve.
For future reference I’ll add that despite Fotomagico now being subscription, you can do single months. My father in law died about 6 weeks ago and I bought a single month subscription to do the slide show. It was only about $14 AUD ($9 US) and I was happy to pay it for what it offers.
