A tip for macOS Finder…
Whenever I drag a PDF attachment from Mail to Finder the column view in Finder displays an envelope instead of the file size. I eventually found that I have to right click on the link (From xxx) and select “Remove”. This removes the link to the email and replaces it with the file size.
