Flying Meat has released Retrobatch 2.2, adding two new nodes to the Pro edition of the bulk image processing utility. The CSV Reader node will read a CSV file and produce an image for each row, and that data can be used to populate a template with text and images—think of it as mail merge with images. The Dynamic Image node allows you to overlay images to templates using the CSV reader node or with custom JavaScript. The update also adds a Trim All Transparent Edges option to the Trim to Edges node, resolves issues that prevented JPEG-XL and 1-bit TIFF files from writing correctly, fixes a bug that allowed SVG files into workflows in macOS 12 Monterey (SVG rendering is supported only in macOS 13 Ventura and above), and adds more IPTC extension tags for the Set Specific Metadata node.
