Reinsert AppleTV 4K power button

Hi friends,

My girlfriend dropped her 4K AppleTV remote, and the power button popped out. She’s tried to reinsert it, but it eventually falls back out. Looking at the photo that she sent me (she’s in the US, and I’m currently in France, so I can’t be there to help her physically), I can’t tell if any of the tabs have broken off or not. Any tips or suggestions for how to permanently reinsert the button?

Just had the exact same problem. What I did was swap remotes with another ATV in the house that gets less use. I reinserted the power button and put a piece of clear tape to hold it in place. Only used it a couple of times but so far it is holding.

As best as I can tell there’s a tiny piece of plastic that broke off.
