Multiple M1 iMac issues: lots of weirdness

Thanks for you thoughts – a good one!

I can confirm that there are now power boards or extension leads being used. The power from the Apple power brick is being plugged directly into a GPO.

At both home and the office, I have wired ethernet, so am connecting to the ethernet that way rather than WiFi. I thought this might be an issue, so ran for extensive periods on WiFi just in case the ethernet was making a difference. Nope, same issues occurred (this was prior to me turning off Energy Saver)

Hi @Technogeezer. This is an interesting observation. Hubs used are all USB 3 compatible, plugged into a USB 3 bus, and all bar one of the drives are USB 3. The USB 2 drive is one of several that spontaneously ejects, but has not had data corruption.
