I just checked, and it seems I bought Mellel for $19 in 2003. At least 6 updates since then have cost a multiple of that, but I like supporting small software shops (and Mellel is as small as they come). Even though the original intention was to use something smaller than Word (or OpenOffice), it now feels like being back to using just a tiny portion of what the program does. But what the heck - here’s to the next 20 years!
I love Mellel. It is so well organized and internally consistent. Helps me stay organized in my writing somehow. It’s on sale now via Winterfest.
