Since moving to Monterey I’ve noticed that upon waking I get the little ‘someone is using your location’ arrow in the menu bar. As I only allow Find My to access my location I’m intrigued that when I hover over the arrow it says ‘Destination Prediction’ as the only thing accessing my location.
Duckduckgo-ing yields no one else seeing this, and the only references to DP is a bit on ios and tomtom satnavs. Nothing on mac. One could infer its apple maps doing something, though there’s no setting in AM, and my system settings do not let AM access location.
Not terribly worried, it is probably a bug where the OS is confusing Find My and using the wrong string something something, but wonder if anyone has also found this.
