“retains global crown” in terms of what? Certainly not in terms of money. Samsung sells a lot of really crappy products for no profit, but Apple eats its lunch in terms of phones that actually produce a profit.
That’s exactly what I meant to say. And I just read today the the number of phones Samsung sold this year declined, and the revenue declined at a bigger rate.
