When Apple released iOS 13.2 for HomePod last week, there were immediate reports that it—or resetting the HomePod after installing it—was causing the HomePods to become entirely unresponsive. The company is now pushing iOS 13.2.1 for HomePod to resolve that problem.
My stereo homepods seem ok after the update to 13.2.1 (fortunately i avoided 13.2). I tried setting up personal requests (to recognise our voices) but it was too messy - it seems i have to enable Hey Siri on my iPhone, which i wont do.
The update hasn’t fixed a problem with iTunes in Mojave losing the HomePods after a sleep. I have to quit and reopen iTunes each time.
