Honoring Peter Eckersley

I never heard of Peter Eckersley but apparently he had a big impact on web privacy.

Does anyone have anything to add?

Unrelated to computers, my immediate takeaway was screening colonoscopies are important.

I first heard of Peter Eckersley when Wikipedia reported his death, and I read the article there. I haven’t reread it but, compared to the EFF article, I believe it has more personal information (he was born in Australia and earned his degrees there) and has less on his technology contributions (although it does mention them).

Yes, removing a polyp effectively eliminates any possibility of it turning malignant. As such, it is one of the very few medical procedures that prevents, as opposed to treats, cancer.
