HomeKit Headaches

So linking to a previous discussion I had about trying to get my wife and I to share contacts, I recently came up with a new problem that has totally flummox me. I was setting up a new hub on my HomeKit when I noticed that my wife was set up as the administrator And I was a lonely user. She does not administer anything on the computer system and now I am stuck with possibly having to configure my entire homebase. I tried to remove her from the HomeKit in hopes that I would be elevated to administrator but now it just has one user.

Do I have to rebuild my entire Home?

Since everything is working OK now, I am forgoing moving to a new Home. I am currently set up as resident (owner)) in the account. I used to be an administrator. Is that going to affect my ability to add new devices or change things or is there a way to get back my administrative status? I don’t think there is based on what I’ve read but I’d like to know what I can do with just the owner status
