Farrago 2.2

Originally published at: Farrago 2.2 - TidBITS

Rounding out Rogue Amoeba’s recent releases, the Farrago soundboard app has been updated to version 2.2, adding support for macOS 27 Golden Gate and a long list of improvements and bug fixes. Farrago’s Shortcuts support has been greatly enhanced with the addition of a Play Sound Set shortcut (beginning playback on the first unplayed sound in the selected sound set), a Configure Sound Set shortcut (for configuring a variety of variables for a sound set), and the ability to assign a color to sounds via the Assign Sound Setting shortcut. The release also enhances the editor window with draggable start and end handles, keyboard selection, and start and end timestamps when creating a selection. Farrago 2.2 dramatically improves the editor window’s VoiceOver experience, ensures the master volume slider no longer appears disabled in the toolbar when muted, improves Farrago’s MIDI support, and updates the app icon to support the system-wide Dark icon style on macOS 26 Tahoe and later.
