I just updated to iOS 18.3.2 and the muscle memory that I had for controlling slide-over windows is no longer working. Of course, I don’t remember what the gestures were exactly, it is just that they “no longer work.”
For slide-over windows I think that I used two fingers to slide the window to hide the window and to bring it back out. Now that no longer works. Nor can I grab the top of the window to move it. Now I have to grab the three dots, and that both allows me to slide the window off-screen and convert it to a side-by-side window, in a very confusing way. I can also grab the very bottom of the window, where the white horizontal line is, to slide the window offscreen, but that is very unnatural.
Is my muscle memory lying to me? Or has Apple made slide-over windows now nearly impossible to manage?
