Did macOS v26 Tahoe's fix that local USB data sync with iPhones?

Or is that still broken with Calendar? No cloud stuff. I’ll have to upgrade 13" 2020 Intel MBP’s unsupported macOS Ventura and iPhones 11 Pro Max’s iOS soon. :(

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. :)

No.

Darn. I guess I will upgrade macOS to Sequoia v15.7.1 soon. I assume there are no still other ways to keep calendars in sync with Macs without the cloud stuff. :( I forget. Was Contacts OK? I know those are OK in old Ventura v13.7.8 and iOS v18.7.1,

Contacts is not as hallucinogenic, but still quirky.

I am experimenting with doing date-entry exclusively on macOS, then AirDropping to iOS and iPadOS. And no, you can’t AirDrop directly. You have to export the event to a file, then AirDrop that file.

Not particularly desirable, but so far, it hasn’t turned my calendar into a mushroom cloud.
