Another pitch for MobileSheets…
Today, another musician friend decided to go digital and ditch his binder in favor of an iPad. But he’s completely tech illiterate (tho an awesome sax player). I could help him, but I play guitar and piano, which are scored in “C”, whereas sax are mostly scored in Bb and Eb. So my books were useless to him.
Why am I explaining all this?? Patience!! So our mutual friend also plays sax and already uses MobileSheets, and already went to great lengths to load and index his PDFs (public domain, of course). Well, with help from me and Google drive, I was able to take a MobileSheets full backup from the one guy and restore it to the other guy and bam! He has access to all the same music.
We could have also used the app’s sync feature if the two were on the same LAN together.
