Gareth - Thanks for the sound advice. For the moment I’ll stick with the Superdrive. (And to be honest, I’m not sure how often I’ll even use it!) The cost of a few dollars for a dongle was well worth it, but if I find my self using it and it gives me any trouble, I’ll look for a 3rd party drive.
I read that Samsung is going to stop making BluRay drives soon. Can anyone else back that up? That is why I didn’t buy one; I stayed with a DVD with USB-C interface for all the speed possible. It is surprisingly quick.
