Well, it appears the focus today (the Day After) will be on the “4 to 8 $ billion headwind for next quarter,” and coupled with Amazon’s big hole and Meta’s miss, the “experts” will preach doom for the next couple of days. But as many who think about the business rather than ‘random numbers’ have pointed out, that demand that is not met in the next quarter will mostly (but not all) carry-forward to the following quarter. So it’s revenue deferred, as opposed to revenue lost. But since most of the analysts have a single quarter focus, they will miss that important consideration.
