Have you been using iCloud Photos but wish you could switch to Google Photos? Apple has now made it possible to transfer photos and videos from iCloud to Google Photos, but not vice-versa.
I just wish that Apple would release an API that would enable me to create a backup script directly on my NAS, so that I could use optimized storage on my photos on my Mac (today I keep the library on an external SSD), and have my NAS maintain a backup without having to rely on a running Mac.
